Like when I told my sister where to go

For as I write there's a pair of eyes glaring down at me
Santa you've been awfully kind so I just thought
I'd drop a line
'Cause I'm a good kid most the time you see

Like throwin' Barbie Dolls out in the street
But Santa I should thin we'll soon be even don't

Why else would my dear mother break an elm switch from a tree?
I plead to you with pen in hand and hope that
you will understand
'Cause Santa I don't mean to be a pain
Sometimes a guy starts feelin' weird and overcome by Christmas cheer
Like when I went out streaking in the rain!
But Santa I should think we'll soon be even

I'm writing prose from an awkward prose across my mother's knee!
Santa Claus I write these words in case perhaps
you overheard
For I've been less than perfect yes I know
But can't you see my point of view these next few days I must improve
