This little white stucco house, built in 1950, was the happy home of three generations of the Hunter family. We are now pleased to make it available for those who wish to spend a few days in the scenic Caprock area hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback-riding, sight-seeing, bird-watching, star-gazing or just visiting family & friends – old & new.

DIRECTIONS: From eastern end of Quitaque’s Main St., turn N. on 4^th St. (between bank & Karol’s Kountry Korner). Go 3 blocks; turn W. on Jago. Third house on left.

* During special events and on some holidays, guests must pay the full occupancy rate of $108 per night for a minimum of 3 nights. Call us for details.

Checkout Time: NOON.   Leave key on top of t.v. in living room.

AMENITIES:

Three bedrooms. 3 double beds; 1 twin bed; living room sofa could sleep 1 person. We have plenty of linens, but we do not provide housekeeping services during your stay.

One bath, with shower/tub. Towels, sheets, pillows & blankets are provided. (When your stay is over, please leave the beds that you slept in unmade, so housekeeper will know which sheets to wash.)

Free use of Washer & Dryer.

Kitchen has electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker, Also has basic dishes, flatware, pots & pans. Covered parking on east side of house.

Charcoal Grill in Backyard.

Cable TV

Local phone service includes Turkey, Flomot, Matador, Paducah, Roaring Springs, & a few other nearby
towns. Use your calling card or credit card for long-distance calls.

HOUSE RULES:

No smoking indoors.

No excessive use of alcohol

No indoor pets.

Please respect neighbors by keeping noise level to a minimum, especially at night.

Please turn off stove, coffeepot, lights, window AC units before leaving house.

In cold weather, please turn thermostat on hall wall to 60 or lower when you leave.

Make payment and pick up key from Mrs. Ortiz at 306 Jago, across the street from Hunter House.
